Integration Courses
Due to a law passed in 2005, which entitles foreign fellow citizens to apply for a free integration course under certain circumstances. These courses are funded by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).
The integration course consists of a language course with 600 lessons, and an orientation course with 60 lessons.
The goal is to enable migrants to communicate in everyday life and to participate in German social life.
Costs of the Integration Courses
A course hour shall with at 2.94 € per participant for the general integration course paid. They participate with € 1.20 each lesson hour. BAMF takes over the remaining cost. At a hours number of 660 lessons arises for you thus a co-payment in the amount of € 792.00.
If you receive unemployment benefits II or for the payment of the financial contribution, presents a hardship, in this case, your income will be checked and you can be exempted from the fee.
For verification of income, the following documentation are necessary:

- Receipts of city works (Electricity and Gas)

- Proof of income of all persons living in your household (each with three most recent proofs of earnings)

- Number and age of any children

- Possibly upkeep payments which will be incurred

- Additional sources of income
Admission to the integration course with costs liberation and the registration form must be requested in writing. This can be at us posed. (Recipients of unemployment benefit II and social assistance get almost always a costs liberation)
If you are successful with the final exam of the course, the federal office can reimburse up to 50% of the course fees.

A successful completion of the integration course is a important prerequisite for a permanent right of residence in Germany and for your naturalization.
Learning is best achieved when in a group with people in which you can share common ideas and goals. This is also true for integration courses. Therefore, an additional, special integration course is offered in addition to the general integration course. We offer courses particularly for illiteracy.
